Wednesday 25-03-2026
Al Ahly officials have clarified their stance on the circulating news regarding Al-Qadisiyah's interest in signing midfielder Emam Ashour during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to "Al-Masry Al-Youm" newspaper, a source within Al-Ahly club confirmed that the management has not received any official offers so far to sign the player, noting that all the rumors in this regard are merely media speculations.

The source clarified that the club will handle any official offer upon its arrival in a way that aligns with the team's interests, especially since the player is considered a key element in the lineup.

Imam Ashour is under contract with Al Ahly until the summer of 2028, which gives the club full authority to determine his future, as no other club has the right to negotiate with him without consulting the management of the Red Castle.

Ashour participated in 13 matches with Al Ahly this season, during which he scored two goals and provided four assists, continuing to affirm his importance within the team.
