Juventus Nears Resolution on Vlahovic's Future
Wednesday 25-03-2026
La Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that the future of Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic at Juventus is nearing resolution, with an anticipated meeting between his father and CEO Comolli to expedite the contract renewal process before the summer transfer season.

This move comes after Vlahovic's return from a serious adductor muscle injury that kept him off the field for 112 days, as he participated as a substitute against Sassuolo, which revitalized renewal negotiations and alleviated much of the tension between the parties.

Both the player and the club have expressed a clear desire to continue together, while Luciano Spalletti, the player's primary supportive coach, continues to press the management to ensure the renewal is completed, following a difficult season that included surgery and gradual recovery.

Regarding the financial aspect of the contract, the club is working on adjusting the player's current salary of 12 million euros annually to be more aligned with the financial situation, with a deduction ranging between 40 and 50% compensated by a signing bonus. The renewal is expected to extend for one to two years until 2027 or 2028 with an annual salary ranging between 6 and 7 million euros, making it slightly less than Kenan Yildiz, the club's highest earner at 7.5 million euros.

Juventus confirms that retaining a player who has scored 64 goals in 163 matches since his transfer from Fiorentina represents a financial and logical decision, while Vlahovic sees continuing in a supportive environment as better than seeking a new challenge that may carry uncalculated risks. The final summit is to be held immediately upon Comolli's return to determine all renewal details before focusing on summer deals like Bernardo and the potential return of Randal Kolo Muani.
