Al-Ahly Nears Recall of Loaned Trio After Exiting Africa
Tuesday 24-03-2026
The Al-Ahly club management has resolved its stance on the loaned players, in light of the phase the team is going through following its exit from the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly exited the competitions in the quarter-finals after losing to Tunisia's Esperance both home and away, prompting the management to reassess several issues within the team.

According to reports, there is a trend within the club to bring back the trio of Mohamed Abdullah, Kabaka, and Ahmed Abdeen, following the performances they delivered during their loan period.

This direction came after continuous monitoring of the players' performance, as Mohamed Abdullah and Ahmed Abdeen showed outstanding form with Ceramica Cleopatra, while Kabaka delivered a remarkable performance during his stint with Zed Club.

In a related context, Al Ahly holds the third position in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 40 points, behind Zamalek and Pyramids, who share the lead with 43 points each.
