USM Alger has qualified for the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup, following their narrow victory over their guest Maniema Union with a score of one goal to none, in the match held at the July 5th Olympic Stadium.

The only goal of the match came from player Ibrahim Ben Zaza in the 30th minute of the first half, giving USM the advantage after their loss in the first leg by two goals to one in Congo.

The defense of the capital team, led by goalkeeper Osama Ben Bout, maintained a clean sheet throughout the match, despite the Congolese team's continuous attempts to equalize the score.

With this qualification, USM Alger continues its steady journey in the continental championship, aiming to reclaim the title they won in 2023, as they will face Olympique Asfi in the semi-finals.
