Mosimane Criticizes CAF Decision: A Farce in African Football
South African coach Pitso Mosimane commented on the decision by the Confederation of African Football to award the Africa Cup of Nations title to Morocco, after Senegal's national team won the final match on the field.
Mousimani said: "Of course, I oppose CAF's decision to award the tournament to Morocco, as this decision is not right."
He added that FIFA confirmed that the referee declared the end of the match and Senegal's definitive victory, which makes the decision issued by CAF unjustified.
Mousimani continued: "I am clearly against this decision; it is a major farce in African football," expressing his dissatisfaction with the way the tournament was decided off the field.
