Officials of Al-Nassr Club are currently taking a new step in the process of renewing the contract of the team's goalkeeper, Raghed Al-Najjar, by preparing an official offer to ensure his continued presence with the team.

This move comes at a critical time, especially after the goalkeeper underwent a successful surgery on the cruciate ligament, which was performed at Aspetar Hospital in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The management's approach reflects great confidence in the goalkeeper's abilities, despite his anticipated absence from the field for a period due to his treatment and rehabilitation program following the injury.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper played three matches for Al-Nassr, during which he managed to keep a clean sheet in two games, while conceding one goal.

Al-Nassr signed the goalkeeper during the summer transfer window for the 2023/2024 season, coming from Al-Taawoun Club, as part of strengthening the team's lineup with outstanding local players.

The club management aims to secure the future stability of the goalkeeper position by retaining Najjar's services as part of a long-term plan to strengthen the team's lineup.
