Kaisela Bouali, the Star of Esperance, Talks About Facing Al-Ahly in the Champions League
Kaisela Bouali, the star of Tunisian Esperance, talked about his team's match against Al-Ahly, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The first leg ended with a 1-0 victory for Tunisian Esperance.
Bouali said in the pre-match press conference: 'Esperance fans traveled to Cairo despite knowing that the match will be held without spectators. This sends a message to the players, the technical staff, and the team management that they are there to support and back their team, and the least we can do for them is to qualify.'
He added: 'It's true that we won 1-0 in the first leg, but we have a full 90 minutes ahead of us. Al-Ahly will start the match strongly, and on our part, we must adapt to the course of the game.'
He also said: 'The fans give us great motivation, and our goal is to make them happy and qualify for the CAF Champions League semi-finals from the heart of Cairo.'
Bouali concluded: 'If it requires maintaining the result, we will do that, and if we have to score, we will score. It's simply about adapting to the course of the match.'
