The management of Al-Ahli Saudi Club, on Thursday, made sure to congratulate their international Algerian star Riyad Mahrez after he was called up to join his national team during the training camp this March.

The club posted on its official "X" platform account a picture of Mahrez holding the Algerian flag, accompanied by a congratulatory message that read: "Riyad Mahrez is back on his country's list again," referring to his return to represent the national team.

Mahrez's call-up comes as part of the squad announced by the Algerian national team coach, Vladimir Petković, in preparation for the current gathering, with the "Desert Foxes" captain topping the list of selected players.

The list included goalkeepers Belazouk, Mandrea, Mastil, and Zidan.

In the defense line, there were Obeida, Ait Nouri, Belghali, Belaid, Ben Sebaini, Dorval, Mandi, and Nair.

As for the midfield, the list included Boudaoui, Titraoui, Zerrouki, Aouar, Aouchiche, Chaibi, and Mazza.

In the attack line, it included Amoura, Boulbine, Ghedjemis, Hadj Moussa, Riyad Mahrez, Ben Bouali, Gouiri, and Shiakha.
