Cancellation of the Friendly Match Between Egypt and Spain
The newspaper "Youm7" revealed that negotiations for holding a friendly match between the national teams of Egypt and Spain during the international break in March have stalled.
A friendly match was scheduled to take place between the Egyptian national team and its Spanish counterpart in preparation for the 2026 World Cup competitions before the match was canceled.
The newspaper explained that the cancellation was due to the difficulty in obtaining visas for Spain for the Egyptian national team's delegation.
The Egyptian Football Association made diligent efforts in coordination with the Spanish side to obtain visas for the Egyptian delegation, but the limited time prevented the completion of the procedures.
