Despite Al Hilal's interest, Hughes has not yet agreed to the offer, as reports indicate that he does not wish to leave Liverpool at the moment, and the English club has not received any official offer from the Saudi side.

Journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed on his account on the "X" platform that the circulating news about Hughes agreeing to join Al-Hilal is not true, emphasizing that the negotiations have not reached an advanced stage.

Hughes' contract with Liverpool extends until the summer of 2027, and this summer is crucial for the "Reds" management, which is working on rebuilding the team, especially after the departure of coach Jürgen Klopp. The management believes that Hughes plays an important role in the development process both on and off the field.
