The legendary goalkeeper Mohamed Al-Deayea sparked a wide wave of controversy after criticizing the style of Al-Hilal's Saudi coach Simone Inzaghi recently.

Al-Daeyea emphasized that the current tactical approach does not align with the abilities of the team's players, noting that the style of play requires technical and physical attributes that are not fully available.

He explained that the coach's reliance on the (3-5-2) formation and quick transitions through the flanks may cause fluctuations in results, especially before crucial matches.

These statements come at a critical time, ahead of the Saudi Al-Ahli's match in the semi-finals of the King's Cup.

In response, Ahmed Ateef sarcastically replied to Al-Daeyea's statements, saying: "We'll open a third registration period for you," referring to the abundance of stars within the team.

Atif pointed out that Al Hilal has outstanding players capable of executing any tactical style, such as Karim Benzema, Sergej Milinković-Savić, Rúben Neves, and Kalidou Koulibaly.

He added that the issue is not about capabilities, but rather about how to position the players on the field to achieve the best possible performance.
