Arsenal secured a well-deserved 2-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16, held at the Emirates Stadium, the home ground of the Gunners.

Arsenal took the lead through Eberechi Eze in the 36th minute after receiving a pass from Trossard, before unleashing a brilliant shot from outside the penalty area that found the back of the net.

In the 64th minute, Arsenal scored a second goal through their English star Declan Rice, after he fired a low shot from the edge of the penalty area.

With this victory, Arsenal qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, noting that the first leg match between the two teams at Leverkusen's stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal will face Sporting Lisbon in the quarter-finals, who overcame Bodo/Glimt after a historic comeback.
