According to "Youm7," Hossam Hassan wants to monitor the player's performance in the coming period, as his inclusion in the final list depends on his regular participation with Barcelona's youth team.

The head coach of the Egyptian national team included Hamza Abdel Karim's name in the preliminary list sent to FIFA, in preparation for selecting the final squad for the tournament to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Egyptian national team is scheduled to play two friendly matches during the international break, facing the Saudi Arabian national football team on March 27, before meeting the Spanish national football team on March 31, as part of the three teams' preparations for the upcoming World Cup.
