Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo praised the strong performance of Al-Nassr Saudi team during their significant victory over Al-Khaleej Saudi team in the Saudi Roshn League competition.

The praise from the Al-Nassr captain came after the team's sweeping victory with five goals to nil, a result that strengthened their position at the top of the league standings with 67 points.

Ronaldo missed the match due to injury, as the medical team preferred to rest him and not risk involving him in the game that took place on Saturday evening as part of the twenty-sixth round.

Despite not participating, the Portuguese star made sure to support his teammates by posting a picture of Al-Nassr players on his official social media accounts.

Ronaldo attached the photo with a short motivational message, writing: "Proud of you... We will keep moving forward," indicating the team's continued strong competition for the league title.

The captain of Al-Nassr is expected to return to participate with the team after the end of the international break, to strengthen the ranks of the global team in the crucial stage of the season.

Al-Nassr had completely dominated the match against Al-Khaleej, achieving one of its biggest victories this season in the Saudi Roshan League.
