The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, a player for Al-Nassr, is nearing full physical readiness after an injury that recently kept him from participating in league matches with the team.

The Al-Nassr captain traveled to the Spanish capital, Madrid, in recent days to undergo an intensive treatment program aimed at accelerating recovery and returning to the field.

Ronaldo is expected to return to Riyadh after the upcoming international break, to begin preparations for his return to official matches with his team.

The forecasts indicate that the Portuguese star will be ready to participate with Al-Nassr in the match against Al-Najma as part of the Saudi Roshn League competition.

Coach Jorge Jesus had explained in a previous press conference that Ronaldo's injury was more severe than expected, which necessitated his travel to Madrid for appropriate treatment.

At the time, Jesus confirmed that the team captain would miss the matches against Neom and Al-Khaleej, as the coaching and medical staff are keen on his full recovery before he returns to participate.

Ronaldo participated with Al-Nassr in the current season in 26 matches across various competitions, during which he scored 22 goals and provided 4 assists, over 2235 minutes of play.

Al-Nassr tops the Saudi Roshn League standings with 64 points, just two points ahead of Al-Ahli, who are in second place, before facing Al-Khaleej in the 26th round.
