Wednesday 11-03-2026
The German club Borussia Dortmund announced today, Tuesday, March 11, 2026, the extension of the contract of German international midfielder Felix Nmecha until June 30, 2030, ensuring he remains a key player in the team's lineup for the coming seasons.

This two-year extension follows the previous contract that was set to end in 2028, in a move the club considered part of its long-term planning for the team's stability.

Nmecha joined Dortmund in 2023 from Wolfsburg, participating in over 100 official matches with the team, scoring goals and creating opportunities, and becoming one of the key pillars in the midfield.

He also joined the ranks of the German national team and played in many matches, reflecting his development as an important player on the international level.

The player was the focus of interest from several major clubs, most notably from the English Premier League, but Borussia Dortmund succeeded in keeping him in their ranks, affirming the great confidence the coaching staff and management have in him.

For his part, Nemesha expressed his gratitude to the club and the fans for their continuous support, affirming his commitment to delivering his best performances in the future and elevating his team to the highest ranks in local and continental tournaments.
