Reports have revealed that Juventus has submitted an official written offer to sign Argentine defender Marcos Senesi, a Bournemouth player, on a free transfer at the end of the current season.

According to the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Juventus has taken a formal step towards signing the Argentine defender by sending a written offer to the player to secure his services after his contract with Bournemouth expires next June.

The newspaper clarified that Sensi is an old target for Juventus management, specifically the sporting director Damien Comolli, as talks have already begun between the player's representatives and the officials of the Italian club several weeks ago in preparation for potentially reaching an agreement.

The report indicated that the Argentine defender is open to the idea of moving to Juventus. However, the Italian club is not the only one interested in securing his signature, as the player is expected to receive other offers in the coming weeks, with his contract with Bournemouth nearing its end.

Despite the anticipated competition, Juventus hopes that this early move will give them an advantage in the race to sign the 28-year-old defender, who is considered one of the top options to strengthen the defense in the upcoming period.
