Ronaldo's Team Nears Return to the Spotlight
Tuesday 10-03-2026
The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has shown clear interest in his new investment project in the world of football, after entering the field of club ownership by purchasing a stake in the Spanish club Almeria.

The captain of the Saudi club Al-Nassr owns 25% of Almeria's shares since February 26, in a move that underscores his inclination towards sports investment beyond the playing fields.

Despite being busy with his matches for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo makes sure to follow the results of the Andalusian team in the Spanish Second Division, as he is one of the contributors to the management of the club's sports project.

Ronaldo's happiness came after Almeria's significant victory over Cultural Leonesa with a clean 3-0 score, a win that gave the team a strong boost in the promotion race.

Ronaldo posted a picture on his official Instagram account of Almeria players celebrating after the match, with a brief caption saying: "Great victory... Let's keep moving forward," accompanied by emojis in the club's colors.

The message was not just an ordinary congratulation, but it reflected the importance of the three points that propelled Almeria to second place in the Spanish Segunda Division standings, a position that grants its holder a direct ticket to La Liga.

The match witnessed the brilliance of team player Sergio Arribas, who scored two goals, continuing to lead the tournament's top scorers list this season.

The victory also helped reduce the gap with the leader Racing Santander to just four points, boosting Almeria's hopes of returning to La Liga next season.
