Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the manager of Al-Nassr, decided to approve the request of the capital team's players following the hard-fought victory over Neom in the Saudi Roshn League competition.

Al-Nassr achieved a dramatic victory over Neom with a 1-0 win in the match held on Saturday as part of the 25th round of the Saudi Professional League.

The only goal of the match came in the final moments, as French defender Mohamed Simakan scored the decisive goal in the 95th minute, granting his team three valuable points in the race for the top position.

The newspaper "Al-Youm" revealed that Jorge Jesus agreed to give Al-Nassr players a two-day break from training, responding to their request for a recovery period before the upcoming match.

This victory helped Al-Nassr regain the top spot in the Saudi Professional League standings after raising their tally to 64 points, leading by two points over their closest competitor, Al-Ahli.

Al-Nassr is preparing for a new away match as they visit Al-Khaleej next Saturday, as part of the 26th round of the competition.

The match is scheduled to take place at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, where the capital team aims to continue its series of positive results.

Al-Nassr hopes to maintain its position at the top of the standings, especially amidst the strong competition ignited by both Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal during the remaining rounds of the season.
