The Al-Nassr team suffered a significant blow after goalkeeper Raghed Al-Najjar underwent surgery for a cruciate ligament injury, which will keep him off the field for a long period during the current season.

The goalkeeper underwent surgery at Aspetar Hospital in the Qatari capital, Doha, following an injury he recently sustained during team training.

According to press reports, Al-Najjar will begin the first phase of his rehabilitation program in Doha under the supervision of the club's medical staff.

The Portuguese Carlos Miguel, head of the medical team at Al-Nassr, is overseeing the stages of the goalkeeper's treatment to ensure his safe return to the field.

The rehabilitation and treatment period is expected to last between six to seven months before the goalkeeper can regain full readiness.

Raghed Al-Najjar, who is the third goalkeeper on Al-Nassr's roster, suffered a torn cruciate ligament during one of the team's training sessions.

In another context, Al-Nassr managed to secure an important victory over the Neom team with a score of one to zero in the twenty-fifth round of the Saudi Roshan League.
