The Portuguese league summit between Benfica and Porto ended in a 2-2 draw at the Estádio da Luz, in a match that was part of the Portuguese league competitions and witnessed great excitement until the final minutes.

Porto opened the scoring early through their player Victor Frunholt in the tenth minute, before his teammate Oscar Petoshevsky reinforced the visitors' lead with a second goal in the 40th minute, ending the first half with Porto leading 2-0.

In the second half, Benfica rallied and managed to narrow the gap through their player Andreas Schjelderup in the 69th minute, before his teammate Leandro Barreiro snatched a dramatic equalizer in the 88th minute, bringing the match back to square one.

With this result, Porto maintained its lead at the top of the standings with 66 points, 4 points ahead of Sporting Lisbon in second place, while Benfica remained in third place with 59 points, keeping the competition for the league title intense as the decisive stages of the season approach.
