Club Africain secured an important away victory against Union Ben Guerdane with a 1-0 win, concluding the 23rd round of the Tunisian Professional League 1. This win allows them to continue putting pressure on the league leaders, Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

The only goal of the match came in the final moments through player Ghaith Al-Zaaloni from a penalty kick in the 90+11th minute, granting his team three valuable points.

The African Club raised its tally to 51 points, achieving its fifteenth win of the season and third consecutive victory, leaving it just two points behind the leading Esperance. Meanwhile, the Union of Ben Guerdane's tally remained at 24 points in twelfth place.

In another match, Stade Tunisien drew 1-1 with its guest Etoile du Sahel. The Senegalese player Boubacar Kamara Junior opened the scoring in the 17th minute, before Nizar Chammakhi equalized for Etoile du Sahel in the 87th minute.

With this draw, Stade Tunisien raised their tally to 42 points in fourth place, while Étoile Sportive du Sahel reached 34 points in sixth place.

On their part, Jeunesse Kairouan lost at home to Club Bizertin with a score of 2-1. Amin Zairi scored the opening goal for the hosts early in the seventh minute, before Mohamed Amin Allala equalized in the 44th minute. Then, Ibrahima Sissoko secured the win for Club Bizertin with a penalty in the 79th minute.

With this victory, Club Bizertin raised its tally to 28 points, placing them in eighth position, while Jeunesse Kairouan's struggles in the battle for survival intensified as their tally remained at 21 points in the fourteenth position.
