Arsenal Targets Signing Paris Saint-Germain Star
Saturday 07-03-2026
Press reports have revealed Arsenal's interest in signing the Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Paris Saint-Germain, during the upcoming transfer window, as part of the London club's efforts to strengthen their attack before the new season begins.

The "Fichajes" website reported that Arsenal's management has placed Kvaratskhelia at the top of their priorities in the transfer market, as they seek to make a strong deal to strengthen the team with a player capable of making a difference in the forward line.

The report indicated that coach Mikel Arteta sees the Georgian player as an important technical addition to the team's system, as he believes that his creative abilities can provide a new dimension to the attack alongside players like Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyökeres.

According to the same source, Kvaratskhelia is not experiencing his best period with Paris Saint-Germain, having scored only four goals in the current edition of the French league. Additionally, he has not yet fully adapted to the playing style of coach Luis Enrique.

The report clarified that this situation, along with the player's market value approaching 90 million euros, could open the door for a potential transfer in the upcoming period, especially if a suitable offer comes from the English club.

The website also noted that Arsenal is aware of the difficulty in completing the deal, especially since Paris Saint-Germain signed the player just a year ago for around 80 million euros. However, the player's desire to embark on a new experience may help facilitate the negotiations.

The London club hopes to finalize the deal before major European clubs enter the negotiation line, at a time when Arsenal is seeking to continue developing its sports project and strongly compete for titles in the upcoming season.
