Valencia Withdraws from Signing Aliou Dieng
The Spanish club Valencia decided to back out of signing the Malian star Aliou Dieng, a player from the Egyptian club Al Ahly.
According to what the Spanish network Cadena COPE reported, the sports management at the Spanish club has decided not to proceed with the deal to sign Dieng.
The report indicated that Valencia's management is currently focusing on other priorities in the midfield position, primarily attempting to retain Argentine Guido Rodríguez, in addition to considering several other names to fill the central midfield role.
Dieng's contract with Al Ahly ends at the conclusion of the current season, and the player has not reached an agreement with the Red club to renew his contract.
