Jesus Decides Ronaldo's Replacement Against Neom
Friday 06-03-2026
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the manager of Al-Nassr, has made his decision regarding the player who will replace the star Cristiano Ronaldo in the upcoming match against Neom in the Saudi Roshn League.

Al-Nassr will host its counterpart Neom at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh on Saturday evening, as part of the twenty-fifth round of matches, in a game where the team aims to maintain its lead at the top of the standings.

Press reports have revealed that Jesus is inclined to rely on striker Abdullah Al-Hamdan in the starting lineup to compensate for Ronaldo's absence, leading the front line alongside the duo Sadio Mane and Joao Felix.

During the recent training sessions, the coaching staff experimented with several offensive options to compensate for the Portuguese star, testing both Hamdan and Mane in the striker position before settling on a final decision.

Ronaldo will be absent from Al-Nassr's matches against Neom and Al-Khaleej after suffering a muscle injury during the previous match against Al-Fayha, prompting him to travel to Madrid for a treatment program.

The match between Al-Nassr and Neom kicks off at 10:00 PM Saudi time, with Al-Nassr entering the game as the leader of the Roshan League standings with 61 points, accumulated from 20 wins, one draw, and three losses.
