Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the manager of Al-Nassr team, revealed details about the injury of his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, which he sustained during the recent match against Al-Fayha in the Saudi League competition.

Al-Nassr is preparing for an important match against Neom on Saturday evening at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, as part of the 25th round of the Saudi Roshan League.

Jesus explained during the pre-match press conference that Ronaldo left the last game suffering from muscle pain, before medical examinations revealed that the injury was more complicated than expected.

The Portuguese coach indicated that the Portuguese star needs a period of rest and a special treatment program for full recovery, which has raised concerns within the team's coaching staff.

Jesus explained that Ronaldo traveled to Madrid, Spain, where he is receiving treatment from his personal therapist, as many players do who prefer to complete their rehabilitation programs outside the club.

The Al-Nassr coach concluded by expressing that everyone within the team hopes for Ronaldo's quick return to the field, especially given his significant importance in the team's lineup during the crucial stage of the season.

This season, Ronaldo played 26 matches with Al-Nassr across various competitions, during which he managed to score 22 goals and provide 4 assists to his teammates.
