Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the manager of Al-Nassr team, affirmed his determination to lead the team to win the Saudi Roshn League title this season, having previously won the championship during his previous stint with Al-Hilal.

Al-Nassr is preparing for an important match against Neom at the First Park Stadium on Saturday evening, as part of the twenty-fifth round of the league. In this match, the team aims to maintain its lead.

During the press conference before the match, Jesus emphasized the difficulty of the encounter, explaining that the Neom team has strengthened its ranks with strong signings this season and has also hired a well-known French coach in addition to several distinguished players.

The Al-Nassr coach pointed out that the preparation period for the match was longer than usual due to the postponement of the Asian Championship matches, affirming that the competition for the title is still open among four teams.

Jesus added that he has previously won the Saudi League title, but this time he is looking to achieve the feat with Al-Nassr, urging his players to maintain the highest levels of focus during the crucial stage of the season.

The Portuguese coach discussed Marcelo Brozović, revealing that he asked him to reduce his discussions with referees, even though his position as a midfielder often involves him in many on-field clashes.

He also spoke about the goalkeeper Pinto Matheus Kripski, affirming that the decision to keep him was the right one, especially with the injuries of goalkeepers Nawaf Al-Aqidi and Raghad Al-Najjar.

Jesus concluded his statements by emphasizing the importance of Nawaf Al-Aqidi's return soon after recovery, explaining that the goalkeeper is an important element in the team and will help Al-Nassr in the upcoming matches.
