Transfer specialist journalist Rudy Galetti revealed on the 'X' platform that French club Lens is leading the race to sign the player, benefiting from closely monitoring his contractual situation before he enters the free period next July.

The presence of Saudi international Saud Abdulhamid within the ranks of Lens gives the French club a potential advantage, should they decide to officially move to complete the deal during the summer transfer window.

Sakala is considered one of the standout strikers in the Roshan League in recent seasons, thanks to his great speed and versatile movements between the flanks and the center, in addition to his ability to exploit spaces and make a difference offensively.

Since joining Al-Fayha in August 2023 from Scottish club Rangers on a free transfer, he has played 97 matches across various competitions, scoring 40 goals and providing 17 assists.
