A Crucial Condition for Jesus to Remain as Al-Nassr's Coach
Saturday 28-02-2026
Al-Nassr management has clarified its stance on the future of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the head coach of the first football team, amid increasing discussions about the possibility of his departure at the end of the current season.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" reported that Al-Nassr officials have decided to retain Jesus for an additional season, but with a clear condition that he must win the Saudi Roshan League title.

The future of the coach came under evaluation following the loss in the Clasico against Al-Hilal, which was followed by a drop from the top of the standings, increasing the pressure on the coaching staff.

On the other hand, the management gave the green light to the idea of keeping Jesus after the recent improvement in results and the team's return to achieving important victories, which restored confidence within the club's corridors.

The Portuguese coach enjoys significant support from his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, who prefers to maintain technical stability within the capital team in the upcoming phase.

Al-Nassr holds the second place in the Roshan League standings with 58 points, accumulated from 19 victories, one draw, and three losses, after 23 rounds of the competition.
