Shocking Numbers for Al-Bulayhi After His Transfer to Al-Shabab in the Winter Transfers
Saturday 28-02-2026
Ali Al-Bulaihi's transfer to Al-Shabab during the winter transfer window sparked much controversy, especially given the defensive statistics that have accompanied the team since he became a regular starter in the Saudi League.

Since Al-Bulaihi joined the starting lineup, Al-Shabab conceded a goal against Al-Kholood, then their net was hit with five goals against Al-Ahli, before conceding a goal against Damac and another against Al-Riyadh.

The defensive struggles continued as Al-Shabab conceded five goals against Al-Hilal, bringing the total number of goals conceded by the team to 13 in just five matches, without a single clean sheet.

Al Hilal Club officially announced the transfer of its defender Ali Al-Bulaihi to Al Shabab on loan until the end of the current season, according to a statement issued in early February.

Al-Bulayhi played seven matches for Al-Hilal this season and successfully assisted a goal during 377 minutes of play before his transfer, marking the beginning of a new experience with Al-Shabab.

It is noted that the 36-year-old defender joined Al-Hilal in the summer of the 2017/2018 season, coming from Al-Fateh Club, before embarking on a different challenge in his career this season.
