The Spanish newspaper "AS" reported in its article that defender Dean Howson did not participate in the match against Benfica in the second leg of the playoff qualifying for the Champions League round of 16 due to not being fully fit.
According to the newspaper, the Spanish defender is still suffering from fatigue in his right hamstring, which is why he did not participate in Wednesday's match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
The newspaper explained that the player has a chance to return in the upcoming match against Getafe on Monday in the 26th round of the Spanish league, but his physical condition is being evaluated daily by the medical team.
Hausen is expected to be 100% ready to participate in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, scheduled for March 10 or 11.
