The statement from Almeria Club revealed that Ronaldo acquired 25% of the club's shares through his subsidiary company, CR7 Sports, as part of an investment alliance led by the SMC Group.

The statement clarified that the move is part of the international expansion of the entity headed by Mohamed Al-Khereiji, the club's president, to enhance Almeria's presence in both sports and investment fields.
