A positive draw was imposed in the match between Etoile Metlaoui and its guest Esperance Sportive de Tunis, ending 1-1. The game took place on Wednesday evening at the municipal stadium in Metlaoui, as part of the postponed match from the twenty-first round of the Tunisian Professional League 1 for the 2025-2026 season.

Esperance opened the scoring in the 53rd minute through Ashraf Al-Jabri, taking advantage of a relative superiority for his team at the start of the second half. However, the hosts got back into the game in the 76th minute when Sharif Boudian scored the equalizer from a penalty kick, earning his team a valuable point.

With this result, Esperance raised its tally to 47 points at the top of the standings, maintaining its position at the summit after 21 rounds. Meanwhile, Etoile Metlaoui climbed to seventh place after reaching 27 points.
