Sami Al-Jaber Resolves the Controversy Over Inzaghi's Dismissal from Al-Hilal
Wednesday 25-02-2026
Sami Al-Jaber, the retired Al-Hilal star, resolved the ongoing debate about the future of Italian Simone Inzaghi, rejecting the idea of his dismissal at the present time and affirming the necessity of his continuation with the team.

Al-Jaber's statements came after Al-Hilal's 1-1 draw against Al-Taawoun in the postponed tenth round of the Saudi Roshan League, a result that kept the team from regaining the top spot.

Al-Jaber confirmed on "MBC" channel that Inzaghi must choose the style that best suits Al-Hilal's capabilities, emphasizing that the club adds value to everyone associated with it, whether a player or a coach.

He explained that Al-Hilal needs professional crisis management, considering that removing Inzaghi at this stage would be a disastrous decision. He urged the management to hold a clear meeting with him to discuss the rest of the season.

He pointed out that the team includes outstanding players, and the coach must understand the nature of the Saudi league, emphasizing that the difference in competition from global tournaments requires a different approach in handling it.

He added that the current style of play has exhausted the players, but he does not hold them responsible. Instead, he believes that a tactical adjustment is necessary to restore balance on the field.

Al-Hilal occupies the third position in the Saudi Professional League standings with 55 points, having achieved 16 wins and 7 draws without suffering any losses.
