Mohamed Sherif Unhappy with Torop's Choices
Tuesday 24-02-2026
Mohamed Sherif, the Al Ahly striker, has been feeling frustrated lately due to his repeated exclusion from the plans of head coach Jes Torup, most recently in the match against Smouha in the league.

According to Al-Watan newspaper, the player believes that the coach does not apply the principle of fairness in choosing between the forwards and tends to rely on certain players during the recent period.

Recently, Torop has been relying on the duo Marwan Osman and Wilson Kamouish, who joined during the winter transfer window, to lead the front line. This comes amid Sherif's dissatisfaction with the continued inclusion of Kamouish despite his declining performance.

Nevertheless, the newspaper confirmed that Mohamed Sherif does not intend to create a crisis within the team amid the pressure of local and African matches, especially since he did not participate in Al Ahly's recent 1-0 victory over Smouha, with the goal scored by Marwan Osman in the nineteenth round of the league.
