Zamalek officials have decided to open the file for extending the contracts of the duo Ahmed Hamdi and Nasser Mansi in the coming period, as part of the plan to maintain the core of the team.

According to Al-Ahram newspaper, Zamalek's management has started negotiations with Ahmed Hamdi to extend his contract for three seasons, especially since his current contract ends at the end of the current season, as he has become one of the key players in the lineup.

The management has also decided to open negotiations with Nasser Mansi to amend and extend his contract, even though his contract runs until 2027, in recognition of his remarkable performance in recent times.

Mansi had scored a goal in Zamalek's 2-0 victory over Haras El Hodood in the previous round of the league, as the team prepares to face Zed tomorrow in the 19th round of the competition.
