Conceição Shocks Al-Ittihad Duo Before Al-Hazm Clash

The Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, manager of Al-Ittihad Club, announced his team's squad in preparation for facing Al-Hazm Club in the rescheduled tenth round of the Saudi Roshn League, set for Tuesday, February 24.

The Union heads to the Al-Qassim region to face Al-Hazm in the anticipated match, which kicks off at 10 PM Saudi time and 11 PM UAE time.

The list saw the absence of Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri and Algerian midfielder Houssem Aouar, in a notable decision before the match, while Nigerian George Ilenikhena was called up and Dutchman Steven Bergwijn returned.

The goalkeeper list included Rajkovic, Mohammed Al-Absi, and Osama Al-Marmash, with the coaching staff relying on full readiness before the important match.

As for the attack, it saw the presence of Moussa Diaby, Roger Fernandes, Steven Bergwijn, George Elinkina, and Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, in an attempt to compensate for the significant absences.

Al-Ittihad occupies the sixth position in the Saudi Professional League standings with 38 points, accumulated from 11 wins, 5 draws, and 6 losses.
