The young Moroccan goalkeeper Yanis Benchaouch, an international player for Morocco's under-20 national team, has caught the attention of several English Premier League clubs, in preparation for signing him during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The "birminghamworld" website reported that Aston Villa is considering signing the 19-year-old goalkeeper as a promising future option for the goalkeeper position, with the possibility of being among the candidates to join the main goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

The current English team's roster includes Martinez, alongside goalkeeper Marco Bizot, who was sent off in the last match against Newcastle United. This prompted the management to consider strengthening this position with young players capable of development.

According to the same source, moving to the English Premier League could be the next step in Benchao's career, amid interest from other clubs, including Bournemouth, which has also entered the negotiation line.

If the Moroccan goalkeeper joins coach Unai Emery's squad, he is expected to start his journey without a guaranteed starting position due to the strong competition, with plans to prepare him as a long-term project within the club.

Benchaouch joined Monaco in 2021, where he progressed through the youth categories and regularly participated with the youth teams. He has recently shone with the under-21 team, although he has yet to make an official appearance with the first team in the French league.

The young goalkeeper is considered one of the most promising talents, having delivered impressive performances with Morocco's under-20 national team and contributed to winning the last World Cup in Chile. This has attracted the attention of several European clubs looking to invest in his future.
