The Italian Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Al-Hilal Saudi Club, made a significant change to the team's local roster submitted to the Professionalism and Player Status Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation.

Inzaghi made the decision to exclude the Uruguayan Darwin Núñez from the Roshan League roster, registering him only for participation in the AFC Champions League for the elite, alongside the Italian defender Pablo Marí.

In contrast, the Italian coach included Brazilian Marcos Leonardo in the list of eight foreign players over 21 years old in local competitions, to strengthen his attacking options in the upcoming phase.

The current list of foreign players includes Malcom, Karim Benzema, Theo Hernandez, Yassine Bounou, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, Sergej Savic, in addition to Marcos Leonardo.

Al Hilal also registered the French goalkeeper Mathieu Patouillet and the Turkish defender Yusuf Akcicek under the birth category, while Simon Bouabri and Kader Meti were listed in the under-21 category, according to the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah."

According to the Professional Committee's regulations, Al Hilal is allowed to register 12 foreign players locally, with the option to select only 8 for each match in the Roshn League, compared to 10 players in the King's Cup tournament.
