Vincent Kompany, the coach of Bayern Munich, spoke about his team's 2-0 victory over Leipzig in the quarter-finals of the German Cup, expressing his satisfaction with the performance and qualifying for the semi-finals, despite missing several clear chances during the match.

Kompany said: "We were very resilient, although we could have scored more goals. We had enough opportunities to score one or two more goals, and overall we created many good chances."

He continued: "Obviously, we are happy with the 2-0 win, and now we are in the semi-finals. There were certainly matches where we were more effective in front of the goal, but we maintained our calmness and stability today."

He added: "We didn't do anything reckless and just waited for the right moment, then that moment came and we took advantage of it well. I had no doubt throughout the match."

Kompany concluded his remarks by saying: "Everyone is in good physical condition, and this could be a great help for us in March and April."
