The Iraqi club Al-Gharaf officially announced its signing of former Syrian international goalkeeper Ibrahim Alma.

He becomes the third foreign goalkeeper to join the Iraqi league this season, after Antonio Tota and Mohamed Al-Amwasi.

Alama possesses extensive experience at both club and Syrian national team levels, having previously played professionally in several Arab and Asian leagues. He has participated in numerous continental and international tournaments, making him a strong addition to the team in terms of skill and experience.

The presence of a female scientist in the Iraqi league is expected to provide additional momentum to the competition between foreign and local goalkeepers, amid significant fan interest in the new deals and their impact on team results during the current season.
