Ronaldo's Return Leads to President's Dismissal
Tuesday 10-02-2026
Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nassr team, received official assurances from the club's management to address recent administrative errors, in a move aimed at restoring stability within the club in the upcoming phase.

A special source revealed that the management of Al-Nassr has pledged to resolve the financial arrears owed to the club's employees in the coming days, as part of a series of measures to contain the internal tension that has recently escalated.

The source clarified that the promises included restoring administrative and financial powers to the Portuguese José Semedo, the CEO, and his compatriot Simão Coutinho, the sports director, after a period of decision suspension.

He indicated that the coming days might witness extensive changes in the administrative structure, with the possibility of removing Abdullah Al-Majed, the Chairman of the Board, as part of a plan aimed at restoring administrative balance.

He indicated that one of the previous media interviews with the club's president caused discontent among the Portuguese circle within the team, following statements that affected the work of the executive management and the technical staff led by Jorge Jesus.

Sources suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to return to participate with Al-Nassr in the match against Al-Fateh next Saturday, as part of the twenty-second round of the Saudi Roshan League, after missing the matches against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad.

The absence of the Portuguese star came as a protest against the lack of technical support during the winter transfer period, amidst previous administrative decisions that limited the financial powers within the club.

Al-Nassr continues its pursuit of the top spot, currently holding second place in the Saudi Roshan League standings with 49 points, just one point behind the leading team, Al-Hilal.
