Valencia nearly equalized in the 70th minute after a cross was met by one of the Bats' players with a header that hit the post and went out of play. Before the end of the match, Real Madrid had a chance to enhance the score, but Mbappe's shot went wide of the goal in the 82nd minute, then Kylian Mbappe scored a second goal for Real Madrid in the 90th minute, exploiting a cross from Brahim Diaz.
