The French star Karim Benzema shone in his first appearance with Al-Hilal, leading his team to a sweeping victory over Al-Okhdood with six goals to none, as part of the 21st round of the Saudi League.

Al Hilal outperformed its host Al-Akhdood in a match held at Prince Hadhoul bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium, relying on a strong lineup that included Yassine Bounou, Theo Hernandez, Ali Lajami, Kalidou Koulibaly, Hamad Al-Yami, Sergej Savic, Ruben Neves, Nasser and Salem Al-Dosari, Benzema, and Malcom.

The Frenchman began his brilliance with a first goal using his heel after a pass from Nasser Al-Dosari in the 31st minute, then scored the second goal after receiving a ball from Malcom in the 60th minute, and added the third goal after a pass from Salem Al-Dosari in the 64th minute to complete his first hat-trick with the team.

Benzema didn't just score goals; he also assisted the fourth goal scored by Malcom in the 70th minute. He then participated in creating the fifth and sixth goals for Salem Al-Dawsari in the 74th and 93rd minutes, respectively, concluding Al Hilal's goal festival.

With this victory, Al-Hilal maintained its lead in the league with 50 points, following a series of draws in the last three rounds against Riyadh, Al-Qadisiyah, and Al-Ahli, while Al-Okhdood's tally stopped at 10 points in the seventeenth position.
