Monaco Excludes Pogba from its European List
The French club AS Monaco announced the exclusion of French star Paul Pogba from its squad for the UEFA Champions League, according to a report by the French channel "RMC Sport."
In official statements, the club's sporting director, Tiago Scuro, clarified that the medical staff is currently focused on accelerating the player's recovery process, saying: "The medical staff is working on finding suitable solutions, primarily to get Paul back on the field before the matches. Pogba continues to recover from a calf injury."
Paul Pogba joined Monaco during the last summer transfer window on a free transfer, following the end of his suspension due to a doping case. However, his career with the team this season has been significantly affected by several recurring injuries, which have prevented him from appearing regularly with the team.
The French star has a contract with Monaco until the summer of 2027, and he may leave the team at the end of the current season.
