Al Hilal Refuses Departure of Akcayik Despite Player's Discontent with Exclusion
Officials of the Saudi club Al-Hilal have decided to reject any potential offers for the departure of the Turkish defender Yusuf Akcay during the current winter transfer window.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" clarified that Al-Hilal's management insisted on keeping Akchichek with the team, despite his dissatisfaction after being excluded from the squad for the match against Al-Okhdood, as part of the 21st round of the Saudi Professional League.
Yusuf Aktasik participated in 15 matches with Al-Hilal this season, during which he scored one goal and did not assist any, making him one of the key players in the team's lineup.
The Turkish defender joined Al-Hilal last summer from Fenerbahçe for 22 million euros, in a deal that drew attention. The club is keen on maintaining its stability amid league competitions.
