Uncertainty Surrounding Jesus' Future at Al-Nassr
Monday 02-02-2026
The Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, manager of the Al-Nassr team, opens the door to speculation about his future with the club after the failure to meet his technical requirements during the current winter transfer window.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Jesus is considering not continuing with Al-Nassr next season due to the current circumstances that hinder the implementation of his technical vision within the team.

The newspaper clarified that the Portuguese coach is still waiting for the conclusion of two deals he had requested since January, but the negotiations have not reached a clear outcome even in the final hours of the transfer window.

Jesus insists on closing these two deals before the winter transfer window ends, considering them essential elements in his plan to improve the team's performance.

Al-Nassr's management has not succeeded in securing additional signings during the current period, except for the inclusion of Iraqi player Haider Abdulkarim from Al-Zawraa, as the club is experiencing financial pressures.

Nevertheless, Al-Nassr's management still leaves the door open for the possibility of completing a new deal in the final moments of the winter transfer market.

Al-Nassr holds the second position in the Saudi Roshan League standings with 43 points, accumulated from 14 wins, one draw, and three losses, in a fierce race for the top spot.
