The Spanish Federation announced the appointment of referee José Luis Munuera Montero to officiate the match between Albacete and Barcelona, as part of the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium.

Valentin Pizarro Gomez will take on the role of assistant referee during the match, which will take place at 10:00 PM Egypt time.

This is the third match this season that Munuera has officiated for Barcelona, having previously overseen the team's matches against Real Mallorca in the league opener and the Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid, both of which ended in victory for the Catalan team.

In general, Munuera Montero has officiated 32 matches for Barcelona, during which the team achieved 23 victories, three draws, and six losses. He has also previously officiated seven matches for Albacete, during which the team achieved four victories, one draw, and two losses.
