PSV Eindhoven achieved a sweeping victory over their host Feyenoord Rotterdam with a score of three goals to none, in the top match of the Dutch league round, confirming their clear superiority this season and emerging victorious from the clash between the leader and the runner-up.

PSV Eindhoven scored their goals early, with Armando Obispo opening the scoring in the 10th minute, followed by Guus Til adding the second goal in the 14th minute. Ismael Saibari then strengthened the lead with the third goal in the 18th minute, effectively securing the match for the team by the end of the first half.

The match saw complete dominance by the visitors in terms of control and effectiveness, while Feyenoord's struggles increased after their player Gonzalo Borges was sent off in the 85th minute, concluding the game with a heavy defeat at home in front of their fans.
