Financial Crisis Disrupts Al-Nassr's Plans and Prevents Completion of Transfer Market
Sunday 01-02-2026
The management of Al-Nassr Club has made its final decision regarding the future of defender Abdulelah Al-Amri, deciding to keep him with the team until the end of the current season, rejecting his departure during the current winter transfer window.

The decision to retain Al-Omari came after the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, the team's manager, rejected the idea of the player's transfer to Al-Ittihad Club, despite serious attempts by the Jeddah club's management to sign him this winter.

There is a prevailing belief within Al-Nassr's management to be content with the contracts made during the winter transfer window, especially with the registration period closing on February 2nd.

During the current period, Al-Nassr has only signed the Iraqi player Haider Abdul Karim, without engaging in additional deals, due to the lack of necessary financial liquidity to enter into new contracts.

Despite financial constraints, Al-Nassr's management has kept the door open to the slim possibility of adding a new player, should the financial situation improve before the winter transfer window closes.

In a related context, Al-Nassr officially agreed to loan the young Brazilian winger Wesley Teixeira, aged 20, to the Spanish club Real Sociedad until the end of the current season.
